ABOUT LEWIS AND CLARK WAGON TRAIN AND WEST RIVER TEAMSTERS

Your hosts for the Lewis and Clark Wagon Train and Trail Ride are the West River Teamsters.

The West River Teamsters are a group of people interested in and dedicated to preserving a part of history that was very important to the settlement of this part of the country (horses and covered wagons).

Members of the Teamsters have provided entertainment for the National Governors Convention, the National Aviators Convention, and have hosted the National Girl Scouts, taking them on a week long cross country wagon train in 1991.  They have also hosted a trail ride from Carson, ND to Mandan, ND in 1989 in celebration of the centennial of North Dakota.

We look forward to having you join us as we celebrate another milestone in our nation's history, as we come upon the bicentennial of the famed journey of William Clark and Meriwether Lewis as they mapped a trail to the west coast and helped chart the course of history for our great nation.
